Ghost Games and EA have come together to drop an extended look at the Cops vs Racers element in the upcoming Need for Speed Rivals.
The only bogus part about the trailer is that you won’t actually see a car until roughly 40 seconds of flashing text and voice over is done. I hate that whole idea, don’t you?
While Ghost Games, a recently formed Swedish subsidiary of EA, is doing the lead work on Rivals, the team is getting help from the proven developers at Criterion Games. That should be good news for fans of recent Need for Speed efforts, as Criterion did the work on those.
Need for Speed Rivals will be available for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at or near launch. If those next gen consoles aren’t happening for you yet, you’ll be able to snag Need for Speed Rivals on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 starting on November 19th, 2013.
